Something Relevant!

OK, so it seems Saskboy and myself are both on the internet and bored. Well, I'm bored, I don't know if he is for sure. Anyway, we're both commenting on blogs, so I know we're both online.

Everyone should go check out Saskboy's blog on naming stadiums. As we all know, Taylor Field was recently re-named Mosaic Stadium. Now, the field is still called "Taylor Field", it's just the stadium surrounding it that got renamed. I have to agree with him that it's getting ridiculous. I happen to know that even the College of Commerce at the U of S is looking to go corporate. And the reason?? Peer pressure. All the other good business schools have a name. The "insert corporation name here" School of Business. As if the College of Commerce isn't already corporate. It has a brand new building, the PCS Centre, paid for by PotashCorp. Where will it stop??

I want everyone in the comments to re-name a building of any kind the most ridiculous corporate name you can think of. It could be a daycare, a sports arena, a church, anything! Let's show everyone just how far this can go. And why we should stop it now.
