HUGE NEWS!!

OK, I have two things to report on.

First, the Calgary Stampeders have BANNED Gainer the Gopher from coming to the playoff game this weekend. They say that Calgary fans have been paid to be entertained by their mascot, Ralph the Dog, and that Gainer would distract. Totally ignoring the fact that most of their fans are from Saskatchewan. Dicks.

Second, Bob Barker is finally retiring from the Price is Right!!! That's right, he'll be 83 when he finishes next June. Man, he is soooo old. But he's great.

Anyway, just thought everyone needed to know this information.

All Sorts of Stuff

Well, I convocate tomorrow, which means that my parents are coming, which means that I have to clean my house. I'm done one room, almost done my laundry, and have finished vaccuuming and mopping. Still need to do dishes, clean off my kitchen table, and tidy up in my living room. If I feel like it. It's not THAT messy.

I'm ridiculously tired, but I guess that's ok, as I have to be at convocation at a ridiculously early hour, so now I'll go to bed early, which should help.

Anyway, definitely not in a blogging mood lately, and I'm not really sure why.

Lastly, my contest. I hate to end the contest this way, but I didn't like any of the entries. Therefore, I am putting the contest on hiatus for a few months and will premiere it again in the new year and maybe the creative juices will be flowing more then. Sorry everyone!

Contest

OK, so I kind of took a break from blogging, so never again mentioned my contest. SO, I'm extending the deadline to Sunday, as I am away from the weekend. I will name a winner Sunday night when I get back!!!

The gist of the contest is that you have to write an answering machine greeting for my answering machine. Please remember that my grandparents do sometimes phone me when I'm not home, so please watch the language. As well, the message must incorporate my name and phone number.

The winner will get a $20 gift certificate to a store of their choice.

Poor Neglected Blog

Well, for some reason, I just haven't been in a blogging mood lately. But I'm sick of looking at Bin Laden Beard Guy every time I open my browser.

Went to the gym this weekend. I've been going to school here for 3 years, and this is the first time I've used the Fit Centre. I've used the PAC to go swimming, but never the fitness centre area. I was a bit intimidated. So, I got a friend to go with me and we went Saturday and Sunday. Did the bikes and another crazy machine. So, I got a good 40 minute workout each day. Plus, I'm going to keep going swimming most days. Figure I'll finally make use of my gym membership, because it really is a kick ass gym.

I have a SADD conference next weekend in Regina, so I'll be down there for a few days. I'm renting a car with a friend so that we are kind of on our own and can cruise around the city without paying for bus tickets or a taxi. I plan on renting a car over Christmas too, so we'll see how this goes and if all goes well then that's what I'll do. If something goes horribly wrong, then that's not what I'll do. Haha.

Anyway, I'm obviously still not in the mood to blog, as I'm just sitting here and not typing. Hopefully the mood will come back sometime soon. Don't know when though.

Bin Laden Beard

Check out this guy. In the drama that was 9/11 he forgot to shave his beard. He then decided that he would not shave it until Bin Laden was found or killed.

That beard's getting pretty long.
